Upon the completion of multiple complex construction projects, the St. Josephs Facility became a leading center for teaching ambulatory care. Considering a recent refocus from acute care towards ambulatory care, Project Directors at St. Josephs were looking for a firm with the ingenuity and experience to integrate the planning and phasing of all three major construction projects involved in the redevelopment. Abbott provided scheduling, cost, project, and development management for the projects‘ duration, including a 300,000 square feet renovation and two major additions, totaling 150,000 square feet. The hospital’s signature aluminum composite panels have become a future-forward symbol for not only St. Josephs but the surrounding areas, guiding the remodeling of numerous neighboring real estate.
